Washi

Japanese paper made by hand in the traditional manner: Washi-paper.
Exploring the flow of colours on wet Washi paper is magical; soft transitions happen. They can’t help being beautiful, they just are!
The paper is very thin, but ever so strong; this allows me to work in many layers, if I like. (Debbie Parkins)
